Muslin made - No
Favourite thing - Everything, I loved putting this together and I love the fabric, all so satisfying. A good introduction to the world of outer ware and something I will no doubt wear frequently
Annoying things - Cutting too many pockets. In my excitement I broke my rule and jumped ahead without properly reading all the instructions. You only need one set of pockets in one of your fabrics no need to cut a pair of each in each fabric as it may have initially looked on the laying out instructions.
Best tip - If you don't want it to be too baggy and loose fitting cut the size closest or down rather that estimating up. I used calico to stabilise my collar, lapel and cuffs, worked a treat.
Things to do differently next time - I will probably either raise the pockets a tad or make them a little bit smaller as I can feel them bunching up a little in my hemline which is annoying. I would try lining the sleeves as well.
